Music Lab sells personalised AI-generated songs online, as gifts for a birthday, a wedding or a new baby. In October 2026 we rebuilt the store from scratch, without WordPress: an Astro site served by Cloudflare, in French and English. Customers tell their story in three steps, listen to a free preview, pay, then receive their song by email.
Music Lab turns a few memories into a song. Customers give a first name, pick the occasion and tell a story. The song they receive sings that name in the chorus, and its lyrics light up in time as it plays.
Before paying, customers listen to a free preview of their own song, without leaving an email address. After purchase, two revisions are included if a word does not sound right.
Ordering happens on a dedicated page, in three steps. A song card updates with every choice, and payment goes through Stripe: bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
In production, the full song arrives about a minute and a half after the order, by email, with a link to a page where it can be played.
The first version of Music Lab ran on WordPress and WooCommerce. In October 2026 we rebuilt it with Astro, served by Cloudflare Workers: pages are prepared in advance and delivered from Cloudflare's network, as close to the visitor as possible. The site loads and takes payments without depending on a single server.
Measured by Lighthouse on mobile, in production, the home page scores 98 out of 100 for performance and 100 out of 100 for accessibility. The order page scores 97 and 100. Both score 100 out of 100 for SEO and best practices.
The site handles orders, payment and rules such as the two-revision limit. Creating the song is handed to n8n automations, as part of our Wellsy FLOW offer: they receive a complete order and send the song back, with no re-entry.
The free preview is protected against abuse without asking for an email: Cloudflare Turnstile bot checks, per-device and per-connection limits, and a monthly budget. A visitor who is turned away can still order directly.
Purchases and previews are measured for Meta from both the browser and the server, only if the visitor has accepted advertising cookies. Without consent, nothing is sent.
On Astro, served by Cloudflare Workers, with a Cloudflare database and file storage. Payment goes through Stripe and songs are created by n8n automations. The site has not used WordPress since it went live on 21 October 2026.
Yes. The site is in French by default and has an English version at music-lab.io/en. The language of the song is a separate choice: the order form offers 24 singing languages.
Yes. Reviews are collected from customers after their song has been delivered, then published only after review and with their consent. The review section stays hidden until there are at least three.
Yes, as an option when ordering: Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music and other platforms. Without that option, customers receive their song by email, with a link to their song page.
