La Sensorielle: an online booking website for a suite with a spa bath

La Sensorielle rents out, by the night, an apartment with a double spa bath about twenty minutes from central Nantes. We built its website on WordPress with the Voxel theme: a detailed property page, an availability calendar, early arrival and late departure options, and card payment at the time of booking.

  • Sector: Short-stay accommodation

What does an independent host need online?

A single-property business has to answer on its own the questions a future guest asks: what the place looks like, what the stay includes, what the rules are and whether the chosen dates are free. The site also had to let guests book and pay directly, with no prior back-and-forth.

The home page answers these questions in order. It presents the spa bath area, the bedroom, the living room and the kitchen, followed by an FAQ on what the night includes and on the residence rules, a photo gallery and reviews left by guests.

How does a booking work on the site?

The whole booking takes place on the property page, without leaving it. We integrated a booking module connected to card payment.

  • The visitor checks a calendar covering several months ahead
  • They pick arrival and departure dates
  • They can add an early arrival or a late departure
  • They accept the terms and conditions of sale
  • The total is displayed, then payment is made by card

What does the property page include?

The page brings together the information travellers usually compare from one listing to another: floor area, number of rooms, sleeping arrangements, amenities, photo gallery and location. Directions links to Google Maps and Waze make the self check-in easier.

  • Listed amenities: spa bath, heating, kitchen, garden, washing machine, parking, wifi
  • Stay options shown with their times
  • Access to a customer account from the menu

Why use a listings theme for a single property?

Voxel is built to publish listings and make them searchable. The accommodation page already offers filters by date, number of guests and location, sorting, and a list or map view. With a single property these tools stay in the background, but the structure is ready if the offer grows.

Frequently asked questions about this project

Yes. Once dates and options are chosen and the terms accepted, the visitor sees the total for the stay and pays by card in the same form. The booking is completed end to end on the business's own website.

Yes. The property page shows a calendar covering several months ahead. Visitors see which dates are free, select their arrival and departure, and the form then calculates the total once dates are set.

The form offers two options: arriving earlier or leaving later than the standard times. They are described on the property page with the times involved and are added to the stay during booking.

Yes. The Voxel theme handles multiple listings, and the accommodation page already has filters by date, number of guests and location, plus a map view. Adding a property means creating a new listing.
